59 of the 444 Viscounts built survive as complete airframes or major components. Some are in very good condition and are looked after by museums while others are just wrecks. They can be found in 24 countries.

Jorge Cobas is a former PLUNA 'Primeras Lineas Uruguayas de Navegacion Aerea' Captain and flew 'that wonderful plane' the Viscount, in Uruguay from 1979 until 1982.

Also known as 'Pilotoviejo', Jorge has his own web site dedicated to Uruguayan Aviation. Called 'Memorias del Tiempo de Vuelo' - 'Flight Time Memories', it contains many photos of PLUNA Viscounts.
