Delivered new to All Nippon Airways (ANA). Taken at Brooklands Airfield, Weybridge, Surrey, England 8 June 1961.

It had arrived the day before after its first flight from Hurn Airport, Bournemouth, Hampshire, England.

Note the small window at the rear of the cabin.

Registered to Vickers-Armstrongs (Aircraft) Ltd. Taken at Wisley Airfield, Surrey, England 23 June 1961 just before it departed on delivery.

It was in a basic All Nippon Airways (ANA) livery.

ANA titles were applied after it arrived in Japan.

Note the integral front 'airsteps'.

Just visible behind is the nose of a Royal Air Force Vickers Valiant in anti-flash white.
