Trans-Australia Airlines (TAA)
VH-TVP
May 1959

Delivered new to Trans-Australia Airlines (TAA) named 'John Gould'. Taken landing at Hurn Airport, Bournemouth, Hampshire, England in May 1959 after a test flight.

Note the higher than normal nose angle, which is because it is landing without flaps, either as part of the test requirement or a system failure.

The higher landing speed needs bleeding off with a higher angle of attack but not too much or the rear fuselage will scrape the runway!
