Note the other Viscounts in the background.

It looks like the Rolls-Royce Dart RDa7 Mark 525 engines are about to be ground run as there is a Ground Power Unit (GPU) correctly placed behind the engines to avoid ingestion of hot exhaust gasses, which can affect the power readings.

Merpati Nusantara Airlines (MNA)
PK-MVN
December 1983

Leased from Far Eastern Air Transport Corporation (FAT) and now unnamed. Taken stored at Kemayoran Airport, Jakarta, Java, Indonesia in December 1983.

In July 1985 it was noted painted all white, so perhaps there was a possible sale then.

Sadly it was soon scrapped, mainly due to the closure of the airport for redevolpment earlier in the year, and the recent opening of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport on the outskirts of the city.
