The logo on the nose refers to Red Maurite, which is a type of potassium salt fertilizer manufactured by PCA.

The slogan 'Salt of the Earth' is also within the logo.

This view shows Mary Rose Foster (played by Bette Midler) leaving the aircraft.

The nose has the emblem painted up.

The film is based on the life story of singer Janis Joplin.

On the nosewheel door is writted 'If lost, please return to Rudge Campbell 1345 Avenue … Americas NY NY' (…… = not readable).
