Delivered new to the Forca Aérea Brasileira (FAB). Taken at Hurn Airport, Bournemouth, Hampshire, England in June 1957 on the production line in the Erecting Shop.

The aircraft behind, which is side on is HK-943X (C/N 332) which was one of the Kaysam Investment Corporation of America aircraft destined for Lloyd Aereo Colombiano (LAC).

Note the Rolls-Royce Dart RDa6 Mark 510 engine now on display with the Exhaust Unit suitable for either the No.1 and No.4 position fitted.

The Exhaust Unit for the No.2 and No.3 inner engines were angled slightly sideways to deflect the hot gases away from the fuselage skin.

It was temporarily moved outside in 2018 along with other aircraft to allow the museum buildings to be repaired after they suffered from storm damage.

Richard returned for a second visit as the weather was poor during his first visit.

He was surprised to find that the aircraft had been moved to a different location amongst the other ex FAB aircraft, including the Boeing 737 behind.

Note the extended range 'slipper' fuel tanks.
