Ferried from Fuhlsbuttel Airport, Hamburg, West Germany to East Midlands Airport, Castle Donington, Leicestershire, England in full Nora Air Services (NAS) livery after they went into liquidation.

Purchased from Deutsche Lufthansa AG after the sale to Nora Air Services NAS) was not completed.

First entered service for British Midland Airways (BMA).

8 June 1973
After landing at East Midlands Airport, Castle Donington, Leicestershire, Engine the nose undercarriage leg collapsed resulting in curled inboard propellers and shockload Rolls-Royce Dart engines.

There were no reported injuries to the 58 passengers and 4 crew on board.

A subsequent investigation revealed a fatigue failure of the nose leg support structure which resulted in a world-wide inspection recommendation.

Repaired and returned to service.

Leased from British Midland Airways (BMA) in full BA livery together with G-BAPE (C/N 341) and used on the feeder service from Turnhouse Airport, Edinburgh, Scotland and Abbotsinch Airport, Glasgow, Scotland to Prestwick Airport, Ayrshire, Scotland in full BA livery. This was necessary at the time because there were no long haul international flights approved from these two airports. They replaced G-AMOG (C/N 7) and G-AMON (C/N 27).

Engines and other parts transferred by Westcountry Aircraft Services Ltd from G-BMAT (C/N 349) which had arrived at Exeter Airport, Devon, England 16 October 1987.

This aircraft was also owned by STH Sales Ltd.

STH stood for Sean T Hulley who was based at Southend and owned Baltic Airlines (UK) and Hot Air.

Ferried from Exeter Airport, Devon, England to Southend Airport, Rochford, Essex, England by Captain Joe Gunnett.

It was handed over to British Air Ferries (BAF) for an overhaul and repaint.

During this period it remained registered to STH Sales Ltd.

Following withdrawal of the Application for Registration, the case file for Swedish registration SE-KBN reserved for Baltic Aviation AB was formerly closed on 31 March 1988 and the markings were released for reassignment.

The registration was subsequently issued for use on a Piper PA28RT-201 Arrow IV as of 29 September 1988.

It was still in the full Baltic Aviation AB livery but with the Virgin logo on the tail.

It remained registered to STH Sales Ltd during this period of operation.
