59 of the 444 Viscounts built survive as complete airframes or major components. Some are in very good condition and are looked after by museums while others are just wrecks. They can be found in 24 countries.

Purchased from Deutsche Lufthansa AG and named 'Meimbressen'. Taken at Fuhlsbuttel Airport, Hamburg, West Germany in August 1971.

It remained parked at Hamburg until January 1972 when it was ferried to East Midlands Airport, Castle Donington, Leicestershire, England for a possible sale to Airwork Ltd but this was not completed and the aircraft returned to Kassel Calden in Germany in April 1972.

It was eventually purchased by BMA in February 1973.

It had arrived here for a possible sale to Airwork Ltd but this never happened so it went back to Calden Airport, Kassel, West Germany.

It is thought to be clearing customs inbound from Calden Airport, Kassel, West Germany before moving on to East Midlands Airport, Castle Donington, Leicestershire, England where it was eventually purchased by British Midland Airways (BMA).

It came from Zestienhoven Airport, Rotterdam, Netherlands and departed to Calden Airport, Kassel, West Germany.

It had arrived to collect Viscount spares from the defunct Channel Airways.

Note the sticker on the port side of the nose stating 'INHYRT AV LINJEFLYG'.

This indicates that Skyline Sweden AB were operating services for Linjeflyg AB due to delays in the delivery of some of their Fokker F28 Fellowships.

It is very dirty and has a sticker applied to the nose and a smaller one near the rear cabin door stating 'INHYRT AV LINJEFLYG' (Chartered by Linjeflyg).
