Purchased from British European Airways (BEA). Taken at Teversham Airport, Cambridge, England in September 1969 undergoing maintenance with Marshall's.

It is about to carry out ground running of the Rolls-Royce Dart engines in a dedicated area with a grass embankment nearby to help reduce the noise.

BKS became part of the British Air Services (BAS) group in 1967, hence the dual titles.

The aircraft behind is a British Air Ferries (BAF) Aviation Traders ATL-98 Carvair awaiting its next load of cars and passengers.

BKS became part of the British Air Services (BAS) group in 1967, hence the dual titles.

Tom was an Air Traffic Controller at Gatwick and took this photo from the control tower during an off-duty period.

This aircraft was retired from service in May 1987, which must have been unplanned, as it would not have been worth all the effort to give it a name for such a short period!

It was broken up for scrap shortly afterwards and taken to their yard at West Hanningfield, Essex, England.

The forward fuselage section was still noted in existence in their yard in February 1994.
