A short comedy play was performed by Shawna Dempsey (in red) with Lorri Millan (in white) assisting with the boarding.

There were three sessions on two evenings and every seat on board was taken.

Purchased from Beaver Enterprises Ltd, preserved and restored as CF-THS. Taken inside the cabin at Winnipeg Airport, Manitoba, Canada 29 May 2014 with Guy La Casse waiting patiently for the comedy play to begin.

Guy is a well renowned local modeller who produces wonderful scale aircraft carved out of solid wood and exquisitely painted to represent historic Canadian aircraft types including, of course, the Viscount.

A lot of his work including dioramas are exhibited in the museum and certainly enhances the museums appeal.

He also models trains and ships, again to exacting scale and perfection.

Taken inside the cabin at Winnipeg Airport, Manitoba, Canada 29 May 2014 with 'Stewardess' Shawna Dempsey in 1970s period Air Canada uniform performing a solo act during the short comedy play which was all about a weird collection of passengers, which I guess applies to any flight on any day!

There were three sessions on two evenings and every seat on board was taken.

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed this unique event which Shawna and Lorri plan to perform on board other suitable aircraft around Canada.

This is the replica boarding pass which allowed you to attend the comedy play.

The flight number is the year represented in the play, i.e. 1979, with this session starting at 20:00.

There was one session at 19:00 and another at 21:00 which was repeated on Friday 30 May, again to full houses or cabins!

No smoking was allowed on board, which was certainly not the case in 1979, but Shawna did hand out free salted peanuts!

One of the ficticious passengers, a small child was supposedly allergic to peanuts.

Some of the other ficticious passengers included a highjacker, a nun and a newly married couple.

The rest of us joined in at appropriate moments including screaming!

I just couldn't stop laughing and missed a few of the punch lines! Shawna, can I have a transcript please?

This engine is S/N 3046 (TCA # 61A-7KA) and had been transferred from CF-TIE (C/N 385) No.4 position after the aircraft flew in from Gimli and only had 497 hours remaining on its overhaul life.

Easy access to the Dart engine for maintenance was one of the major bonuses for the ground engineers.
