Transferred from Trans-Canada Air Lines (TCA) due to a corporate name change retaining fleet number 627. Taken at Dorval International Airport, Montreal, Province of Quebec, Canada in November 1969.

It has now been painted in the old TCA livery by Air Canada and is awaiting its delivery flight to Rockcliffe, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada for display outside the National Aeronautical Collection hangar.

I don't think anyone expected it to be outside for several decades in all weathers.

The aircraft was officially handed over on the following day.

He is shown on the left being introduced to Jules Leger, Undersecretary of State who was also at the ceremony.

For some reason all the propellers are still in the feathered position, even though it flew in on delivery to the museum.

However this was back in November 1969!
