Delivered new to Fred Olsen Flyselskap A/S. Taken at Hurn Airport, Bournemouth, Hampshire, England 9 May 1957 on the compass swing pad during the test flight phase and before the livery was applied.

Leased from Fred Olsen Flyselskap A/S. Taken at London Airport (Heathrow), Middlesex, England in January 1958 prior to being repainted in the full Austrian Airlines livery.

The Commer truck belongs to Dunlop who provided a service crew for the maintenance of wheels, tyres, brakes and the Air Intake Cowling on the Dart engine.

Leased from Fred Olsen Flyselskap A/S. Taken departing from London Airport (Heathrow), Middlesex, England in January 1958 on the short journey to Teversham Airport, Cambridge, England for a repaint in AUA livery by Marshall's.

Note that it is still carrying the registration LN-FOI under the wings.

The nose undercarriage leg retracts a lot quicker than the main legs.

It had arrived from Schiphol Airport, Amsterdam, Netherlands and departed in the afternoon of the following day to Fornebu Airport, Oslo, Norway.

Leased from Fred Olsen Flyselskap A/S. Taken at Teversham Airport, Cambridge, England in November 1960 just prior to delivery after a repaint in full SAS livery with Marshall's.

It seems strange that the full SAS livery was applied for such a short lease period, but perhaps it was intended to be much longer.

In the background is Icelandair Douglas DC-4 TF-RVH which was on lease from Loftleidir Icelandic Airlines.
