Delivered new to Fred Olsen Flyselskap A/S. Taken stored at a very wintry London Airport (Heathrow), Middlesex, England circa November 1957 with a preservative lacquer applied to the fuselage, wings and engine nacelles.

The aircraft behind is also a Fred Olsen Viscount.

Not long after this it was painted in full Austrian Airlines (AUA) livery for a lease.

The large slot at the top of the nearest nacelle cowling is the air exhaust for the Rolls-Royce Dart engine Oil Cooler, with the air intake just behind the propeller and forms part of the Air Intake Cowling.
