Built new for BOAC Associated Companies Ltd. Taken during a pre-delivery test flight from Hurn Airport, Bournemouth, Hampshire, England 27 November 1957 in British West Indian Airways (BWIA) livery prior to going on lease to them.

Note the 'Overseas' part of the name.

Built new for BOAC Associated Companies Ltd. Taken during a pre-delivery test flight from Hurn Airport, Bournemouth, Hampshire, England 27 November 1957 in British West Indian Airways (BWIA) livery prior to going on lease to them.

The outboard Rolls-Royce Dart engines have already been shut down.

Note the extended range 'slipper' fuel tanks which would have been useful on the long journey to the UK.
