Undershot the runway at Chess Lamberton Airport, Franklin, Pennsylvania, USA at 11:15 AM local resulting in the collapse of the undercarriage. The 40 year old co-pilot misjudged the distance and altitude and the Captain was criticised for inadequate supervision of the landing phase. Only minor injuries to 2 crew and 7 passengers on board.
Substantial damage to the belly, flaps, undercarriage bays and propellers, and shockloading of the Rolls-Royce Dart engines. Repaired locally.
