The fuselage is being constructed in the main jig.

Delivered new to Capital Airlines with fleet number '377'. Taken at Midway Airport, Chicago, Illinois, USA circa July 1957.

Note the integral front 'airsteps' and weather radar nose. This must have been one of the first to be upgraded

A Trans World Airlines (TWA) Lockheed Constellation is landing on runway 22L in the background.

There hardly seems enough room between the hangar and the ramp area for a runway but the photo tends to forshorten things.

Delivered new to Capital Airlines with fleet number '377'. Taken at General Mitchell Field, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA in September 1958 with the registration moved from the tail to the rear fuselage and enlarged to comply with FAA regulations.
