Delivered new to Indian Airlines Corporation (IAC) named 'Maharashtrah'. Taken at Hurn Airport, Bournemouth, Hampshire, England 27 September 1957 on the production line in the Erecting Shop.

The aircraft behind is Cyprus Airways G-APCD (C/N 243) being built under a BOAC contract.

This demonstrates the random C/N order that Viscounts were built depending on the size of fleet orders.

Delivered new to Indian Airlines Corporation (IAC) named 'Maharashtrah'. Taken at London Airport (Heathrow), Middlesex, England in October 1957 prior to delivery to India.

Delivered new to Indian Airlines Corporation (IAC) named 'Maharashtrah'. Taken at London Airport (Heathrow), Middlesex, England 24 October 1957 in a maintenance area on the south side of the airport.

It was being used for crew training, with approaches and landings mainly at Blackbushe and Wisley.

It departed on delivery to India in December 1957.

Delivered new to Indian Airlines Corporation (IAC) named 'Maharashtrah'. Taken departing from Blackbushe Airport, Hampshire, England in November 1957 for another training flight.

Captain Brian Alexander Powell was the instructor and worked for Vickers and then Hunting-Clan Air Transport (HCA).
