It first flew on Thursday, 26 September 1957 at Hurn, Bournemouth, Hampshire, England powered by Rolls-Royce Dart 510 engines.


During its life this aircraft was also owned and/or operated by
BOAC Associated Companies Ltd, Kuwait Airways, Middle East Airlines (MEA), Middle East Airlines (MEA) / Air Liban, Burma Airways Corporation, Pearl Air, International Air Charter and Intra Airways

Its fate:-

International Air Charter Ltd was a subsidiary of Intra Airways.

A proposed sale to SAETA in Ecuador was not completed.

November 1977
Noted still in storage outside the Westcountry Aircraft Servicing Ltd facility at Exeter Airport, Devon, England with the Republic of Zaire registration now crudely painted out.

1 February 1978
Title transferred to Intra Airways.
