August 1972

Delivered new to Union of Burma Airways. Taken at Sittwe Civil Airport, Akyab, Northern Burma 24 August 1972 after running off the side of the runway.

The undercarriage collapsed, curling the propellers and shockoading the Rolls-Royce Dart engines.

It was subsequently declared as beyond economic repair.
