Delivered new to British European Airways (BEA) named 'R M A James Weddel'. Taken in a field near Ballerup, Denmark 17 November 1957 after making an emergency wheels up landing due to icing problems.

Luckily this was not a passenger service or the consequences may well have been serious for those in the rear of the cabin.

Surprisingly there was no post crash fire.
