Delivered new to Misrair - Egyptian Airlines. Taken at Hurn Airport, Bournemouth, Hampshire, England 28 February 1955 during the fuselage assembly phase.

A strange appearance without the cockpit section fitted.

Note the F J Edwards rolling frame in the foreground, which was used to form a curve on aluminium sheeting before it was chemically pickled to harden it.
