This coastal and very humid airport is not a good place to store aircraft.

Taken at Simón Bolívar International Airport, Maiquetia, Vargas, Caracas, Venezuela 8 October 1980 after having been withdrawn from service in 1976 and stored amongst several LAV Douglas DC-3.

This coastal and very humid airport is not a good place to store aircraft.

Surprisingly, her Dart engines and Rotol propellers are still installed.
