Delivered new to Air France. Taken at London Airport (Heathrow), Middlesex, England in June 1955 on a stand in front of the Europa Terminal and Queen's Building with a BEA Airspeed AS.57 Ambassador (Elizabethan) and Swissair Douglas DC-3 in the background.

It still has the original 'Cutlass' type propeller blades which were gradually replaced by the 'Needle' type.

Delivered new to Air France. Taken at Morin-Védrines Airfield, Montauban, France circa September 1955.

Note that the No.3 propeller is now the later 'needle' style.

The original 'Cutlass' style propellers were gradually replaced, as they became unserviceable.

Air France used this airfield for a lot of Viscount maintenance.

Clearly there was a small friction fire, as the fire brigade has laid foam around the nose.

The passengers would have disembarked through the forward door, which must have been interesting for those seated near the rear of the aircraft!
