It is flying with both port Rolls-Royce Dart Mark 505 engines feathered.

Note the early 'Cutlass' propeller blades which were later replaced by the 'paddle' shape, which often coincided with an upgrade to Dart Mark 506 standard, but not in all cases.

The starboard engines are running but the ground power unit (GPU) behind the tractor will remain connected until all the engines are started.

Not the nicest of conditions for photography. The following month she departed to warmer weather in Cyprus.

Generally the Dart needed less than a pint of oil after a two hour flight.

Under the aircraft on the ground and out of the sun is the Alidair avionic engineer.
