This aircraft c/n 345, a V.789D, was built for Fôrça Aérea Brasileira (FAB) as FAB 2101 and first flew on Sunday, 1 December 1957 at Hurn, Bournemouth, Hampshire, England.
Its final owner/operator was Museu Aeroespacial as VC-90 2101.Its fate:-
Withdrawn from service by the Fôrça Aérea Brasileira (FAB) and stored at Galeao Airport, Rio de Janeiro, Brasil circa 1987.
Placed on display at the Museu Aeroespacial, Campo dos Afonsos, Delio Jardim de Mattos Airfield, Rio de Janeiro, Brasil in full FAB livery on the 20 January 1987.
A severe storm in the Rio de Janeiro area resulted in structural damage to several museum buildings and hangars on the 14 February 2018. Noted parked outside on the 5 April 2018. Noted still parked outside along with several other museum aircraft on the 16 April 2019.
